Your goal is to progress from world to world and from level to level, stomping on enemies, collecting pots of gold and gold coins, as well as various power ups. Read on for some tips and tricks for Lep’s World 3!
Just like in the Mario games, if you collect 100 gold coins, you will earn an extra life. Extra lives are also often stored in the gold clover blocks. If you run out of lives, it’s not really a big deal, but you will have to start at the beginning of the last level that you played, instead of at the checkpoint. If you lose a life, you will have to start over at the checkpoint.
Try to hit the gold clover blocks before you hit any of the normal red bricks. Often times the red bricks will be your man steppingstone to get to the prize that comes out of the gold clover block, and usually gold clover blocks are where power ups and extra lives are stored. For example, if you earn the winged boot power up, you will get superspeed for 10 to 15 seconds.
On each stage, you can get between zero and three pots of gold. Your score will have nothing to do with this; all you have to do is collect all three of the pots of gold in the stage. Your score is mainly used for if you connect the game to Facebook, or if you have lots of friends in Game Center, and you want to compete against them.
There are different power ups that you can collect even without hitting the gold clover breaks. For example, if you get five birds in a row, your suit will turn blue, and you will be able to jump extra high for about 10 to 15 seconds.
You can buy all kinds of extra suits and extra characters in the game, but before you go spending your money, look at the shop, because many of the characters in the game, or extra seats, can be one by completing various tasks in the game, rather than buying them. Such tasks include earning a certain number of gold pots, or completing a certain amount of stages.
