1. Kixeye's Full 3D RPG will Hit Facebook in September

Kixeye is a social game company that's making games for gamers who don't like social games. Known for titles like Desktop Defender, Backyard Monsters, and Battle Pirates, Kixeye is building a dedicated audience that monetizes their games at rates far exceeding Zynga's.

2. Angry Birds Theme Park Coming to Finland

Finland gets all the cool stuff, and that trend isn't about to change. Last week, it was revealed that the country will be the home of a new theme park extension called "Angry Birds Land."

A theme park, based on the popular smartphone game app 'Angry Birds', is being planned in Tampere,Finland. 'Angry Birds Land' will be themed and designed according to the style of the world's leading amusement parks. As well as the usual rides and activities, it will also include a 'Magic Places' area, where activities and the gaming world meet. 

Harri Koponen, Rovio´s EVP Lisensing and Merchandising, said: "Our goal is to motivate the fans, both adults and children, to exercise and enjoy the outdoors."
