Social slots fans officially have zero shortage of digital dime-devourers. (Or was that with the last slots game?) Plumbee, a London-based social games studio headed by several EA and Playfish veterans, has launched its first game: Mirrorball Slots.

Mirrorball Slots - A fairytale-themed casino game, Mirrorball Slots offers three different virtual slot machines at launch among other features. Players can pull the lever on slot machines revolving around Rapunzel's Tower, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Magic Mirror.

Plumbee promises that a Big Bad Wolf-themed slot machine is next in line. In fact, according to a release, the start-up promises that plenty more features are in the pipeline, like medals, social currency and progressive jackpots.

Mirrorball Slots faces stark competition in social slots game space, with Zynga, PopCap, IGT and even Caesars in on the next big thing on Facebook. Plumbee was certainly smart in differentiating its slots game from the rest with a strikingly unique theme: Fairy tales aren't the first thing people might think of when they hear slots, but they're certainly easy to relate to. It will be interesting to see whether Plumbee can come out with a top spot in the social slots game, especially given its crack team.
