It's time to kick back, relax, and have yourself be taken care of for once. Well, at least by proxy. It's Pampering Week in The Sims Social, the top-performing social game by EA and Playfish, which means plenty of new items to buy and things to do. Of course, it's all about the spa life in this week's theme, which means manicures, pedicures and massages for Sims everywhere.

This week's project item is the Zen Garden, which when completed will reward players with the Spatacula Sauna. This item is only available for a limited time (likely until next Wednesday), and offers players extra energy, potions and collectibles. Sims can also bump up their Cooking Skill with the new Smoothie Maker.

And what would a weekly theme be without a quest? This time around, it's the "Relaxathon," which after each task pays out the crystals you need to complete the Zen Garden and ultimately score the Spa for your Sim. In that case, it's best that you work on the Zen Garden alongside the "Relaxathon" quest line to earn a fifth plot of land to grow crops in. Based on these screen shots, we foresee lots of bamboo, tile and steam in your Sim's future. Oh, and ferns and palms ... lots of those.
