Publisher NGames have announced a sequel to their hugely popular anime-inspired MMO, Pockie Ninja. Launching exclusively on Facebook, Pockie Ninja II Social is set to bring the best elements of Pockie Ninja - and a few new surprises - directly to the social network scene.

Inspired by story lines from the Naruto series, players of Pockie Ninja II Social can expect to encounter a variety of iconic anime characters, scenes and locations as they strive to create a brand new ninja world.

Featuring a newly crafted turn-based tactical combat system, players will be challenged by all new adventures and quests as they build, maintain and protect their own ninja villages.

Pockie Ninja II Social doesn't only combine adventure and battle elements, but village building too. The game challenges players to build the strongest Ninja army possible while putting their recruits to work on building the greatest village they can.

At launch, players will encounter and have the chance to recruit from a selection of 84 recognisable Naruto characters, from Sasuke and Kakashi, to Rock Lee and more. Selecting and managing a strong team will be vital to success - with many of Pockie Ninja's 11-million registered accounts expected to play the sequel, competition will be fierce as soon as the game launches.
