Zynga announced at Unleashed the global launch of The Ville, the company's most social game to date. The Ville gives players the chance tobuild the home of their dreams and enjoy it with friends. The game is built on the legacy of Zynga's 'ville' genre, and is a spiritual successor to YoVille, Zynga's first 'house and people' game.

Based on the trailer and game demonstration shown during the event, The Ville looks as if Zynga's YoVille and The Sims Social by EA and Playfish had a visit from the stork. The game allows players to build out their own home with multiple rooms, decorations and functional items to show off to their friends.
Players' Facebook page activity will be accessible to players in-game, and their friends will be able to comment on their actions from within YoVille, thanks to a feature known as Z Talk. What does this mean for YoVille and, by extension, The Sims Social?
Note: TheVile will launch on Facebook as early as tomorrow, June 27, so stay tuned.
