A new update has dropped into SimCity Social that works in the same way Mystery Boxes do in other online Facebook games where you must spend premium SimCity Diamonds in order to obtain a random premium item or building.

The UFO Mystery Gifts cost 15 Diamonds for 1 attempt, 75 Diamonds for 6 attempts or 150 Diamonds for 13 attempts. Once you've purchased your package from the small 'Limited Time Only' UFO icon towards the right hand side of your SimCity Social game screen you will have to hit the big red button to start the random gift generator.

The main attraction in doing this is the ability to be able to obtain one of the four 'Rare' and 'Super Rare' buildings promoted at the bottom of the UFO Mystery Gift screen which include Mount Olympus, The Grand Casino, Luxury Shopping Mall and Chateau Grapevine all of which are not currently available to purchase from the SimCity Social store and at the moment are only Exclusive to this costly mini game.
