While many ChefVille players are likely familiar with the ability to visit their friends and collect from plants, buildings and ingredient stalls, they've always had the ability to dismiss these sorts of visits back at their own restaurants if their friends tended items that they didn't appreciate. Say, for instance, a friend tended your last two onion patches, but you didn't need onions at the time. That's simple: just dismiss the friend's visitation and go about your merry way, right? Wrong, as Zynga has removed this ability to "dismiss neighbors," and now forces players to accept any actions your friends may have taken, or continue to stare at their waving avatars for (apparently) all of eternity.

Understandably, players are frustrated by this change, and have taken to the game's official forums to vent that anger. Multiple threads have popped up about this issue in the last couple of days, and so far, it doesn't look like anyone at Zynga has made an official statement as to why the change was made. The biggest argument on the part of players is that their friends are wasting their onions, which are scarce to begin with at a low level, making progress harder than it has to be.

While you wait for a solution (that may never come), forums user JidderbuggSS has a great suggestion for those looking to save their onions from their friends: place a wall up that blocks those onions from your friends' view:
