Zynga's blend of social casino and mid-core role-playing game, Zynga Elite Slots, arrived on facebook today.

 Zynga Elite Slots

Zynga Elite Slots could easily be called a (albeit an extremely light) slots RPG. Players do nothing more than click the "Spin" button and chat with their friends, but those spins cause a cast of characters (across several themes) to move along a path, occasionally battling monsters and leveling up.

Zynga Elite Slots is an interesting idea because it combines two highly lucrative genres —mid-core and social casino— into one casual title. The game is currently only available on Facebook and is expected to come to Zynga.com at some point in the future, although no  launch date for that version has been announced yet.
