Zynga appears to be getting in on the "endless runner" genre with its newest iOS game, Running With Friends.

Running With Friends

Based on the screenshots used on the App Store page, Running With Friends looks like many other endless runners, a genre that became immensely popular following the success of Imangi Studios'Temple Run. In Running With Friends, players control a character participating in the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Since this is a Zynga game, the app includes social features where players can challenge their friends'scores.

The timing of the game's release might work against Zynga, however, and that game will likely overshadow any competitors in the near future.
