CastleVille Quest Guide: Hazel Bachelorette

After unlocking two expansions in your Kingdom in CastleVille and meeting Hazel, the Ice Witch with an attitude, you'll be allowed to complete a longer set of quests with Hazel called the Bachelorette quests. There are nine in all, with varying degrees of difficulty, but of course we're here to help you every step of the way with our guide. Let's get started.

Breaking the Ice

• Have 10 Rat Tails
• Get 10 Fresh Ogre's Belches
• Have 5 Ice Chunks

Ice Chunks come from chopping into icy trees or mining icy rocks. Rat Tails are earned by defeating rats, while Ogre's Belches come from tending plants in your kingdom. For finishing this first quest, you'll receive 750 coins, 15 XP and a Frozen Cow.

Warming Up

• Have 4 Diary Pages
• Visit 3 Neighbors
• Craft 5 Glue

Diary Pages are earned through a general news post on your wall. Finishing this quest gives you 1,000 coins, 20 XP and an Imperial Opal.

Beastie Party

• Use 2 Wolf Potions
• Use 2 Thief Potions
• Use 2 Yeti Potions

You can purchase all of these potions from the store, but you don't actually have to banish the beasties to complete the quest. You'll receive 500 coins and 10 XP for finishing this one off.

Evil Intentions

• Have 10 Love Letters
• Craft 4 Bottles of Ink
• Fish 6 Times in Neighbor Kingdoms

The Bottles of Ink are crafted inside your Studio, with a single Bottle requiring three Berries (tend grass and plants) and three Pails of Water (fish) to create. They take just 10 minutes to craft. When you finish this quest, you'll receive 750 coins and 15 XP.

Hate Potion No. 9

• Harvest 20 Cabbage
• Get 10 Pine Cones
• Get 15 Piles of Sand

Sand comes from fishing, while Cabbage can be planted and harvested after growing for 12 hours. After finishing these three tasks, you'll be rewarded with 750 coins, 15 XP and a Love Potion.

Gloom Chic

• Banish 10 Gloom Wolves
• Have 20 Shells
• Craft 6 Flaxseed Oil

Flaxseed Oil requires just two Flax to craft in the Kitchen, and each one crafts in five minutes. Shells, meanwhile, can be earned by fishing. You can reach the Gloom Wolf requirement here by purchasing and using Gloom Wolf Potions from the store for eight Reputation Hearts each. Finishing this quest gives you 1,000 coins and 20 XP.

Epic Etchings

• Craft 7 Stone Blocks
• Craft 7 Dyes
• Have 7 Chisels

Chisels are earned by asking your friends to send them to you via a general news post. The Stone Blocks are crafted inside your Workshop, and the Dyes are crafted inside the Studio, with each Dye requiring 10 Red Feathers (gathered from adult Peacocks or by asking friends) and two Alchemist Powders (earned when visiting friends). They take two hours to craft. When you finally finish this lengthy quest, you'll receive another 1,000 coins and 20 XP.

How Thoughtful

• Have 20 Fresh Grubs
• Craft 5 Fishing Bait
• Unwither a crop in five different Neighbors' Kingdoms

When you finish this quest, you'll receive 1,500 coins and 30 XP.

Foul Farewell

• Craft an Epic Ice Pick
• Have 5 Yeti Potions
• Bring Down Hazel's Tower

The Epic Ice Pick requires you to craft other ice picks and then combine them here. It's a lengthy process, but can be done eventually with enough determination. Meanwhile, you just need to purchase five Yeti Potions from the store; you don't actually have to summon five yetis. Once you've crafted the Epic Ice Pick, you'll be able to use it to bring down Hazel's Tower in the far corner of your map. For finishing this final quest in the Bachelorette series, you'll receive 1,500 coins, 30 XP and the Witch's Tower building that you can use as a sort of decoration for your kingdom.
