Quick! Get inside! Gloom Dragons have just landed in your kingdom in CastleVille! You'll need to help Tom and Alastair banish these foul beasts from your Kingdom through a new series of nine quests called "The Architects." If you don't see these quests just yet, don't panic, as they are still rolling out to all players. Once you receive them, here's what you can expect to find within.

The Ancient Artifact

• Place the Ancient Artifact
• Have a Beastie Lab
• Click on the Ancient Artifact

The Ancient Artifact will appear in your inventory at the beginning of this quest series, so don't worry about being required to purchase it. For finishing this first simple quest, you'll receive 1,000 coins and 20 XP.

Strange Noises

• Visit 2 Neighbors
• Collect from 2 Houses
• Feed 3 Animals

Rewards: 1,000 coins and 20 XP

House of Fire

• Craft 2 Mystic Winds
• Extinguish 2 Gloom Flames
• Have 4 Compasses

The Compasses can be earned by posting a general news item to your wall. Meanwhile, you'll need to craft the Mystic Winds inside your Beastie Lab. You'll earn 1,500 coins and 30 XP for completing this quest.

Myrick's Flask

• Place the Flask
• Construct a Base for the Myrick's Flask

By this point, you will have been introduced to a lot more of this quest line's story (that we won't spoil here), and will have been given the flask by Alastair. Simply go into your inventory and place it somewhere in your Kingdom. For doing so, you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

How to Catch a Dragon

• Mine 5 Rocks
• Craft 1 Wood Club
• Activate Myrick's Flask

Rewards: 1,750 coins, 35 XP, Dragon's Breath (flower)

The Essence of All Things Mythical

• Have 4 Journals
• Craft 2 Ink
• Use Mythium to activate the Ancient Artifact

The Journals are earned via another general news post on your wall, while the Ink can be crafted in your Studio(s). You'll earn 1,000 coins and 20 XP for completing this quest.

Manifest Destination

• Explore the Gloom
• Chop 10 Trees
• Craft 3 Bags of Popcorn

Rewards: 1,750 coins and 35 XP

The Ancient Castle Builders

• Explore the Gloom
• Have 6 Spyglasses
• Craft 3 Candles

The Spyglasses are earned through a general news item on your wall (note: make sure your inventory isn't full of the maximum number of Spyglasses before trying this, as the game may not register that you've been given six more by friends). The Candles can be crafted inside your Studios. For completing this quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

Garden of the Architects

• Explore the Gloom
• Activate Myrick's Flask
• Activate the Ancient Artifact

If nothing else, this quest series will allow you to expand into three previously locked areas of your game board, which can then be used however you see fit after you complete these quests. You'll earn another 1,750 coins and 35 XP for completing this final quest, but don't worry about rushing; these quests aren't on a time limit, as of this writing.
