You may choose from four unique races in D&D: Heroes of Neverwinter when creating a character: dragonborn, eladrin, halfling, and human.

Dragonborn are descended from dragons and were once part of a mighty empire. They are now reduced to a few proud clans of honorable warriors. Encountered mostly as wandering mercenaries or adventurers, dragonborn nonetheless adhere to a strict code of martial honor.
BONUSES
Eladrin are creatures of magic from the twilight realm of the Feywild. Close cousins to elves, the eladrin are otherworldly, graceful, intelligent, and have strong ties to the natural and arcane worlds.
BONUSES
Halflings are a nomadic people who tend to roam waterways and marshlands. They are resourceful, plucky, quick and brave. Proportioned like a human adult, but standing about 4 feet tall, halflings have excellent reflexes and agility, relying more on stealth and trickery than brute force.
BONUSES
Humans are among the most populous races, thriving in part due to their adaptability, diversity, and ambition. While sometimes rash, their will to prevail and their innate perseverance often sees them through even the most difficult times.
