The item-shop is populated by things every player can get in game by simply using their in-game gold to buy credits. The loading times, repetitive quests and rather derivative nature are pretty much my only complaints with what is altogether a rather impressive browser-based experience. Surely it's not something that's going to rock the foundations of the MMO industry, but I highly doubt it was meant to do so. Sparkplay Media set out to make a fun, friendly traditional PvE experience and in that area I believe they've more than succeeded. : Developer:Bigpoint GmbH Graphics:3D Genre:RPG Theme:Science Fiction; I think in a way it’d be way easier to forgive if the game as a whole were just ho-hum average. But with space combat that’s compelling and dynamic (not to mention visually fantastic), it just makes the shortcomings in the other parts of the game that much more glaring. It’d be great if they just ripped out the resource gathering altogether and just let us fight it out to control the stars. I didn’t hate Battlestar Galatica Online by any stretch, but oh man it could’ve been so much better. Come for the space combat and try to ignore the rest of it.; Learn more

It’s a relief to see that the game didn’t change any important factors that made the series a lot of fun, and I really like the fact that you could play with the old mercenaries that also still have the same voices and sound they made like in the previous games.
